Regional Action Planning Workshop In Support to E.O. 70

Since its creation, the MIPCPD and its affiliated IP organizations MIPCEL and MIPYO has been an active partner of the National Commission on Indigenous People (NCIP) in its programs and activities. One of the most challenging and significant undertakings wherein MIPCPD, MIPCEL and MIPYO has played a major role is in in the successful series conduct of twelve (12) Regional and two (2) Island Regional Action Planning Workshop In Support to Executive Order 370 (E.O. 70)

The Eight (8) Major Objectives for the conduct of the NCIP Regional Action Planning Workshops (RAPW)

1. To come-up with NCIP-ICCs/IPs Action Plan for the 12 LOEs applicable in the Ancestral Domain;

2. To level with other agencies  and come-up with inter-agency mechanisms workable within the NCIP-ICCs/IPs 12 Action Plans;

3. To provide a framework for NCIP personnel and ICCs/IPs role and participation within the 12 Lines of Efforts Action Plans inside the Ancestral Domain;

4. To mainstream the 12 LOEs IMPLANS from the perspective of the ICCs/IPs & NCIP in the National, Regional, Provincial, City, Municipal, Barangay and AD joint convergence;

5. To come-up with evaluation framework (quanti/quali) which are measurable to tract the progress of the 12 LOEs Action Plans;

6. To establish a strong network of connectivity and support within and outside the ancestral domain, between ancestral domains, with the private/public sectors and GLAs/LCEs;

7. To develop and capacitate core members from NCIP and ICCs/IPs who will be bearer and advocate of ICCs/IPs Rights within the context of National Security and Development;

8. To develop the 12 LOEs action plans that will strengthen the ICCs/IPs Right to Ancestral Domain, Right to Self-Governance, Right to Justice System and Human Rights, and Right to Cultural Integrity.
