The Mindanao Indigenous Peoples Youth Organization or MIPYO is a Non-profit Youth Organization composed of Indigenous tribes from Mindanao.  It’s pioneering members came from Indigenous Peoples’ Communities duly affected by the armed struggle of the CPP/NPA/NDF from the 1980s until the present time that led to the creation of MIPYO in 2019.

MIPYO is committed in helping and supports the national government’s Whole-Of-Nation Approach framework and programs which primarily aims to address the decades-long communist rebellion in the country.

MIPYO believes that ending the local communist insurgency is the only solution that will paved the way for a true sustainable development and lasting peace not only to the ravaged indigenous communities but to the nation as a whole.

Since its creation, MIPYO has faithfully adhered to its vision and mission by initiating youth oriented programs and activities and have actively engaged and contributed in the series of major government undertakings.
