11 Building Blocks of ICCs/IPs towards their resiliency, responsiveness and relevance against CTG atrocities,among others. These same issues are what the communist terror groups are waiting and feeding on. Though the National Task Force to End Local Communist Armed Conlict (NTF ELCAC) programs have efficiently made some gains in bringing converging national services to the IP communities. Still, there is a need to sustain this and reinforce what the national government has already done. Thus, HERO was launched on June 06, 2022.
HERO aims to establish a general environment of cooperation & collaboration among IP community elders/leaders and members to engage the peace and development program of the government.
As partner of the National Commission on Indigenous People (NCIP), MIPCPD, MIPCEL and MIPYO with its members has played a very vital role in the implementation of HERO. From conceptualization, planning, leg-working and facilitation.
